Rebel Bass 'White Painting .0'by ~NomeEdonna

Oil on panel, 14x18 inches, 2010, sold.

Had the idea for sometime to make a 'white' painting and
although this is not exactly what I had envisioned, it is a step
towards it. I rarely make drawings/sketches for paintings and
this one is no different. Just start painting and see what
comes... It kinda looks like some Rebel base in Star Wars or
something, hence the title. Really into the mixture of nature
and the man-made/machine, which for me really speaks
our place in history...

This is my last completed painting for 2010...

Wow its funny how you said the clash of man and nature, its a concept that usually comes upin my paintings. check em out. I just go for it and see what happens too. Kinda Erie we've come to the same conclusion wandering so blindly thru the paint. love your style
